HERBEL TEA BLENDING WORKSHOP and JOLLY LUNCH IN NATURE

Jolly Allotments mantra is ‘ How do I Feel, What do I need’ and the answer is often herbal tea but not just any tea the one that we need at that moment. The one the body is craving because this is your body telling you what you need. This is your opportunity to come and blend a tea for your needs.

At Jolly Allotment we have our own exclusive blend of tea blended by our friend and herbal tea expert Katherine Carey. This is your opportunity to come and taste our tea and learn about its gut nourishing benefits and also to try Katherine's other teas all blended for a specific mood or need.

Herbal teas are natures greatest remedies. Come and enjoy the day at Castle Howard and learn about the nourishing ancient healing qualities of herbal teas.

Join Katherine Carey of Retreat Remedies and Jolly Allotment in the walled garden. Katherine is an expert in herbal remedies and tea blending. She will guide you through the process of choosing and blending your very own herbs. So you can have your very own bespoke blend full of healing properties to your needs and taste to your desire.

You will learn the benefits of having more herbs in your life and go through Katherines top 15 herbs she likes to use in her blends. Enjoying herbal tea meditations along the way to really get immersed in their flavours and the chance to feel what your body enjoys and needs.

The workshop will cover an introduction into herbs, how best to pick and forage your own and dry them for herbal teas. You will learn what each herb is used for, in terms of their physical properties, spiritual and even some of their believed powers used for ritual and magic.

You will be served a delicious seasonal lunch from The Jolly Allotment team and you will get to taste the Jolly Blend along side other herbal teas and take your own blend home with you.
