We are excited to be kicking off the 2026 Fire Feasting season with a collaboration with the award-winning Jolly Allotment fire cooking crew and the incredible Cherry Tree Farm. This is the most stunning location for a Beltane Feast.
Founded by Naturopathic Fire Chef Polly Baldwin, The Jolly Allotment team are celebrated for their seasonal regenerative fire feasts and fire cooking workshops.
Polly and her crew are on site for the weekend to celebrate the ancient Celtic festival of fire and light. With a seasonal Fire Feast, Fire Cooking workshops for families, and their popular festival food truck will be serving up fire-cooked breakfast and brunch all weekend.
Beltane is about fire, food and gathering while the year turns towards summer. It’s a moment worth marking properly.
On Saturday evening, Polly Baldwin and the Jolly Allotment crew will cook a seasonal fire feast using what’s in season, such as wild garlic, asparagus, rhubarb, and pickled magnolia.
Everything is cooked outdoors over flames and coals, then served as a generous communal meal. Polly is known for her plant-led fire-cooking, and her slow-cooked dishes tend to convert even the most committed meat-eaters.
This will be Cherry Tree’s first feast fully suitable for coeliacs. There’s one menu for everyone.
If you’ve not been to a feast in our barn before, expect a relaxed evening of great food and getting to know your neighbours. If you’re booking separately from friends and want to sit together, make sure to drop us a message after you book, and we’ll sort it out. Otherwise, arrive hungry and with an open mind, ready for a memorable evening in the sea air.
Please let us know of any allergies in advance so we can do our best to accommodate them.
Alongside the main feast, there’ll be a Friday evening fire ceremony with relaxed drinks and snacks from the fire pit, plus optional workshops and regular and guided sauna sessions running throughout the weekend.
